The tower's radios were giving them trouble in the '64-68 time that I flew from there. We didn't have a lot of flying going on and I'm afraid that our tower controller sometimes got bored. We sometimes had to get the Willow Grove NAS on our radio and have them call Johnsville on the phone so that the tower would answer our radio calls.
